Shane has been working in financial inclusion and enterprise development for over two decades. He has played both technical and management roles on a range of programs and worked with dozens of financial service providers and social enterprises across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Good Return, Shane worked as program manager and microfinance focal point for Australian Aid (Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) in China and Mongolia, where his work encompassed design, appraisal, monitoring and evaluation of rural development and capacity building projects.
Shane has degrees in Behavioural Science and Social Science - his Masters research investigated the impacts of microfinance upon the poor in rural China. Shane was a founding member of the Australian Financial Inclusion Network and is a non-executive director of Palmera Projects. LinkedIn
Bénigne is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, having joined Good Return in 2017. He is responsible for oversight of Good Return’s regional office and programs across the Asia-Pacific region. Bénigne has over 18 years of relevant experience, spanning microfinance specialist and operations manager with PlaNet Finance; director level experience with other NGOs; establishment of two social impact investment funds; and country representative for Entrepreneurs du Monde in the Philippines. He holds an MBA and has published a paper on microfinance business planning. LinkedIn
Jessie is an experienced project manager and international development practitioner with strengths in gender, digital finance, and multi-stakeholder management. Jessie leads Good Return's Pacific programs with partners across Fiji, Tonga and Solomon Islands. Jessie is Project Manager of an ADB pilot working with smallholder farmers in Solomon Islands. Since 2015 she has led our internal and partner organisational gender self-assessments, conducted a gender value chain analysis of the VCO value chain, and developed GR’s gender strategy and action plan.
Gabi manages our CAFE program across the Asia-Pacific region.
Rose has worked in the financial inclusion and social development space for over 17 years, specialising in microfinance, financial capability development, and adult non formal education. Rose co-designed the curriculum and digital solutions of Good Return’s flagship CAFE Initiative now being rolled out in Cambodia and Nepal. She also led design work on the ‘Make money work for a better future’, a financial capability program piloted in the Solomon Islands. LinkedIn
Fifi manages Good Return's gender-lens investments, business advisory support, and stakeholder engagement. She has over 18 years of management and consulting experience in social-economic inclusion, social impact, and quality assurance. Holding an MBA and a Strategic Leadership for Inclusive Finance certificate from Harvard Business School, she has contributed towards the strategic growth of organisations including Opportunity International and Habitat for Humanity. Diana is a development practitioner with expertise in financial education, financial services, gender, communication campaigns and digital innovation. Leading program development and strategy across Asia, she has provided technical assistance to government, financial institutions, NGOs, microfinance associations, incubators/accelerators and multilaterals like the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. While previously working for the Australian Federal Government, she received an Australia Day Medallion for contribution to digital public policy. LinkedIn

Katrina is a data driven, digital marketing professional in the B2B and B2C space, with diverse skills and experience across loyalty programs, digital marketing, customer insights, segmentation and CRM management. Her 17 years of marketing experience span a range of industries from IT to publishing and healthcare, as well as not-for-profit experience with Sydney Symphony. She has also spent time agency side as a Strategy Director with M&C Saatchi Australia. LinkedIn
Cathy is responsible for our events and relationships with our high value donors, including corporate partners, major donors and foundations. She has a background in the IT industry, where she worked in major account sales in the telecom and retail sectors. Cathy started volunteering in not-for-profits and eventually started a new career as a fundraiser, and was a major gifts fundraiser at Caritas Australia. LinkedIn
